Description
Intro to Sourdough Starter Workshop
Saturday, March 21 | 10:00 AM
This workshop is all about the foundation of sourdough: the starter.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to create, feed, and care for a sourdough starter using simple ingredients and traditional methods. We’ll cover what a starter is, how fermentation works, and how to keep your starter healthy and active at home.
Please note:
This class focuses only on learning about the sourdough starter. We will not be baking bread during this workshop.
Each participant will receive:
• A live sourdough starter to take home
• Easy care and feeding instructions
• Troubleshooting tips and time for questions
If you’re excited to learn about baking, you’ll want to join our Sourdough Bread Baking Workshop on Saturday, April 18th, where we’ll put a starter to use and walk through the bread-making process step by step. This is a separate class with its own registration.
No experience required. Space is limited to keep the class hands-on and relaxed.
Come learn the why behind sourdough—and get ready for baking in April 🍞✨
